Getting started

1. Download the installer and run it. Windows will ask for administrator permission — AutoKeyClicker needs it to send input to other programs.
2. Follow the prompts. It installs to Program Files and adds AutoKeyClicker to your Start menu.
3. Launch it from the Start menu, or let the installer start it for you when it finishes.

There is no installer and nothing is written to your system folders. To uninstall, delete the folder.

Autoclicker

Clicks repeatedly on its own. Set how often, which button, and where.

Start and stop with the button, or with F6 from anywhere — including while another window has focus, which is the point.

Key Spammer

The same idea for the keyboard: presses keys over and over. Add the keys (Free: up to 3, Pro: unlimited), then choose the interval and whether it repeats a set number of times or runs until stopped. F9 starts and stops it.

The autoclicker and the Key Spammer can run at the same time. They use separate controls and do not interfere — holding a movement key while clicking is a normal thing to want.

Choosing a speed

Faster is not always better, and this is the most common reason the app can feel broken.

Below about 5 ms, AutoKeyClicker sends more than 200 inputs per second. Most applications cannot process input that fast — games typically read input once per frame, roughly 60 to 240 times a second. When the target falls behind, input stacks up: clicks feel delayed, and the application may keep responding for a moment after you have stopped.

That is a limit of the program you are clicking into, not of AutoKeyClicker. If you set an interval under 5 ms you will see a warning saying so. You can proceed anyway — the setting is yours — but 5 to 10 ms is where most targets stay responsive, and clicks that actually register beat a bigger number that does not.

The same goes for click-speed test websites: most can't count clicks faster than every 5 to 10 ms. If clicks seem to go missing, raise the interval.

Hotkeys

Hotkeys work globally, so you never have to switch back to the app.

All of them can be rebound, in both Free and Pro. Click the key beside an action and press the key you want. Esc cancels without changing anything. Mouse buttons work as hotkeys too, including the left and right buttons.

Unlock key

Press the unlock key (F10 by default, rebindable in Settings) to lock every hotkey. While locked they act as normal keys, so a key you also use in a game, like E or your left mouse button, can double as a hotkey. Press it again to unlock them. Locking also stops the autoclicker, the Key Spammer and playback. Hotkeys start unlocked each time the app opens, and each panel shows whether they are locked.

Don't want it? Turn off Settings → Hotkey lock. Hotkeys then always work and F10 is a normal key again. With the lock off, a left-mouse hotkey fires on every left click.

Toggle or hold PRO

The autoclicker and Key Spammer hotkeys each have a Hotkey mode, under the hotkey in their panel. Toggle (the default) starts on the first press and stops on the next. Hold runs only while you hold the key down and stops the moment you let go. The Start and Stop buttons work the same in both modes. Locking your PC while holding the key stops it too.

Rebinding is free on purpose: F6 to F9 collide with plenty of in-game controls, and that should never be a reason to pay.

Macro recording PRO

Records what you actually do — mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and keystrokes — and plays it back with the original timing.

1. Press F8 and perform the actions you want captured.
2. Press F8 again to stop.
3. Press F7 to play it back.

Playback jumps straight to the first recorded position, then follows your timing from there. You can adjust playback speed and loop a macro continuously.

Choosing what to capture

Mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and keyboard input can each be turned off before recording. Leaving movement off produces a much smaller macro when only the clicks matter. Relative mouse movement is for 3D games that capture the cursor, where absolute screen coordinates are meaningless.

Using the autoclicker and Key Spammer in a macro

Switch the autoclicker (F6) or Key Spammer (F9) on and off while recording and the macro remembers when you did it. Playback switches them at the same moments, using their settings at the time you play.

By default, stopping a recording, stopping playback, or a macro finishing also switches the autoclicker and Key Spammer off, so nothing keeps running afterwards. To keep them running instead, turn off Stop autoclicker & Key Spammer when a recording or playback stops in Settings.

Expert editor

Lists every recorded event so you can delete individual ones or retime them. Optimize thins out redundant movement events without changing what the macro does.

Profiles

A profile stores a complete setup — autoclicker and Key Spammer settings, and in Pro, a recorded macro. Switch between them for different games or tasks.

Default Tracking Profile always exists and cannot be deleted. Deleting it clears its contents instead, so there is always somewhere to work.

Clear Current Profile Data resets a profile to how it looked when it was created. Delete removes it entirely. Both ask first, because neither can be undone.

Free includes 3 profiles, holding settings only. Pro is unlimited, and each profile can carry a full macro.

Themes PRO

Two themes are built in — AutoKeyClicker (the default) and Modern Blue (the old default). More can be downloaded from the themes page.

To install one, do any of these:

• Double-click the .akctheme file.
• Drag it onto the AutoKeyClicker window.
• Use Import Theme and browse to it.

It is applied straight away — no restart.

Want to go further? A theme can also carry a hand-painted drawn skin — custom art for panels, buttons, switches and more, plus a traced custom font. Paint two reference sheets and turn them into a .akctheme file with the browser-based Skin Maker. Still just colours, PNGs and a font under the hood — still checked the same way.

License & activation PRO

Your key arrives by email after purchase. Enter it once when Pro first starts.

A key is tied to one computer. It locks to that machine's hardware the first time it is used. Sharing it does not give a friend a copy — it moves your license to their machine and locks you out of your own.

You can move to a new computer a limited number of times, which covers a rebuild or a new PC. If you run out and have a genuine reason, email support and it will be sorted.

Pro checks in when it starts. If it cannot reach the internet it keeps working from its last successful check, so an outage on our side never stops you using software you paid for.

Subscription (monthly)

The $0.99/month plan renews automatically and runs to the end of the period you already paid for — cancelling doesn't cut you off immediately. Manage or cancel any time through the Stripe customer portal, no account or password needed.

A subscription needs to go online at least once a week to confirm it's still active. It keeps working offline for up to 7 days at a time between checks — past that, it asks you to reconnect rather than stopping outright. The lifetime license has no such limit.

Tester (BETA) builds

A tester build stops working on 31 December 2026. It is a separate app with its own settings, so the release doesn't see them: to keep your macros, export each one from the beta (.akcmacro) and import it into AutoKeyClicker Pro.

If your key never arrived

Check your spam folder first, then email [email protected] from the address you purchased with. That is a delivery problem, not a refund situation, and we will resend it.

Free is a complete, working tool with no signup, no time limit and no watermark. Try it for as long as you like.

Troubleshooting

“Windows protected your PC”

Click More info, then Run anyway. Windows shows this for any program it has not seen often before. Signing certificates cost more per year than this software does, so that money goes into the software instead.

My antivirus flagged it

AutoKeyClicker watches the keyboard and mouse and sends input to other programs. That is exactly what it is for, and it is also what some scanners look for, so occasional false positives happen.

Only download from this website. Because the free version can be passed around freely, other sites repackage it — sometimes with adware added. A copy from anywhere else is not one we can vouch for.

Clicks are laggy, or keep going after I stop

Almost always the interval being set too low. See Choosing a speed — try 5 to 10 ms.

The hotkey does nothing

Something else is using that key, or a game is capturing it. Rebind it to a key nothing else wants; rebinding is available in both Free and Pro.

Clicks do not register in my game

Some games run with administrator privileges and ignore input from programs that do not. Right-click AutoKeyClicker and choose Run as administrator.

Still stuck

Email [email protected] and say what you were doing and what happened. A real person reads it.
